Leave it to ME, LLC is a full-service event planning company specializing in planning and coordinating end-of-life and life milestone events.  The concept is simple.  Do what it takes to create stress-free unique celebrations for all involved.  Leave it to me was founded by event planning veteran Ladan Madresehee.  She began Leave it to ME to answer her calling to create memorable experiences and celebrations for others.

Our Founder's Story 

Leave it to ME is the brainchild of Ladan Madresehee.  Ladan planned her first event as a Junior in high school.  She found great joy from running around town getting last-minute details sorted out for the prom. She personally delivered the ice sculpture to the venue, ensuring that the rest of the planning committee was relaxed getting their hair and makeup done before the big event. The event that night was a resounding success, one of the highlights of her adolescence, and a defining moment for her life's true calling. Ladan realized that coordinating events made her feel alive. She has been making magic ever since, effortlessly and seamlessly putting together big and small events to the delight of everyone.

The path to her passion and purpose took many professional turns, enriching her expertise in management and logistics. 

A proud 1997 alumni of Thunderbird School of Global Management, Ladan also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (International Finance) from Rochester Institute of Technology.   


In March 2018, Ladan founded Leave it to ME to feed her passion for events.  In April she attended a funeral and noticed that the family had to focus on planning and coordinating and were robbed of the opportunity to truly grieve.   


Later that evening, a multitude of thoughts came to mind. 


Planning and coordinating the funeral service for a loved one is one of the most challenging things a person can experience.  

Funerals have many of the same planning requirements as weddings.   


Why are there an entire industry helping brides for their wedding day but no one to help grieving loved ones?   

Why isn't there anyone who specializes in coordinating end-of-life events?

Ladan realized that she could use her gift to help make funeral and memorial services precisely what they should be….an event that celebrates the deceased's life without creating work for the grieving loved ones.

She looked into it and discovered that only a few people in the country specialized in planning and coordinating end-of-life events.  She put the idea in the back of her mind until a few months later, when a close friend's mother passed away.  Her friend wanted to make the funeral a Celebration of Life.   


Ladan got another request for the same type of event while planning the event for her friend.  She then knew that this was her calling.  She answered the call.   


She later realized that she wanted to create unique events to celebrate life's milestones in addition to end-of-life events.  She now plans Life Milestone Events from sunrise (baby showers) to sunset (Celebration of Life events).  Ladan currently resides in Northern Virginia with her two daughters.
